Jewelers: Christmas strategies
Christmas is approaching and, like all Italian (and not only) retailers, even jewelers are working hard to be the most attractive on the market and win over old and new customer groups.
According to a recent multiple interview by Preziosa Magazine, in fact, the tendency to buy jewelry is increasing compared to the choice of bijoux and this is certainly positively experienced by the experts.
This was stated by Rossella Aquilino from Aquilino Gioielli Bari: «Between the end of November and the first week of December, we prepare the shop windows with precious and festive themed decorations. We take care of the fittings, choosing each year a different theme, which can be a color or a landscape. To this we add an ad hoc communication on Facebook, which we take care of personally, to inform our customers and those who follow us about collections and news. Events, on the other hand, we organize at the latest at the beginning of December, never at Christmas time ".
Giovanna Viola of Jewelry Tresor - Santa Lucia di Serino (AV) - focuses not only on jewelry and watches: «We prepare Christmas shop windows for both jewelry and gifts, which is very important at Christmas. We offer ceramic, porcelain and silver, taking the current trend towards home design. Another display case is dedicated to the bijou. The creative part is managed by us and every year we choose a theme for the decorations. Last year, for example, was the fireplace ".
The festivities still represent a point of reference for sales also for Mario Didone of Hausmann & Co 1794 Rome: «The windows that offer our jewelry collections, but also the interior and exterior decorations, are taken care of by me and my collaborators, who have been in the industry for a long time. Every year we choose a theme, as we do all year long when we change the window every two or three weeks ». For communication, instead «we have a dedicated office, which follows website and social media and which takes care of Christmas posts. Even if the atmosphere is there and people feel it, remembering it helps».
